As an Event Volunteer, you will play a hands‐on role in supporting a wide range of fundraising and community engagement activities throughout the year. Duties are flexible and matched to your interests and skills, and may include:
* Assisting with the setup (pack‐up) and pack‐down of events
* Selling raffle tickets and supporting donation drives
* Helping run BBQs and food‐related activities
* Supporting event coordination, including managing car parking and attendee flow
* Greeting and signing in event attendees
* Assisting with book fairs, including sorting, pricing, collecting, and selling donated books
* Conducting telemarketing calls to support fundraising initiatives
* Participating in seasonal activities such as Christmas events and "letters to Santa"
* Representing the organisation at events, including mascot appearances (e.g. Bandi Bear)
* Supporting a variety of ad‐hoc events such as fun runs, golf days, brunches, and community activities
Volunteers are expected to be flexible and available to assist at different events throughout the year.
