We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a well-established contractor delivering a major defence infrastructure project in Adelaide's northern suburbs. With significant works about to commence, this is an opportunity to be involved from the early stages of delivery on a high-profile project with long-term security and strong future prospects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with planning, coordination, and day‐to‐day delivery of major civil and infrastructure works
* Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site interfaces to ensure smooth project execution
* Support project forecasting, cost control, procurement, and reporting functions
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
* Contribute to construction programming, scheduling, and progress tracking
* Provide technical engineering support across project teams and site operations
* Mentor and support junior engineers across the project team
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience working as a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer on major civil, infrastructure, or defence projects
* Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and multiple work fronts
* Ability to perform in a fast‐paced project environment with changing priorities
* Relevant Engineering or Construction Management qualification
* Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive approach to project delivery
