The Marketing and Development Officer position plays a vital role in promoting, developing, and expanding the student theatre community at the University of Melbourne. Under the guidance of the Artistic Director/Theatre Coordinator, this officer will collaborate with the Union House Theatre team to implement effective strategies for promoting and developing the student theatre season.
Responsibilities
* Developing Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing plans to promote Union House Theatre activities and events.
* Promoting Student Theatre: Engage key audiences through innovative content across multiple platforms.
* Enhancing Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with students and stakeholders through engaging initiatives.
* Supporting Student Theatre Program: Assist in delivering the student theatre program.
Requirements
* A degree-level qualification in Marketing, Arts Administration, Communications, or a relevant field.
* Demonstrated high-level writing and communication skills, as well as a service-oriented approach.
* Ability to devise original engagement or development initiatives.
* Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
