The Role
Head of Department – Technologies, full-time, permanent, commencing in Term 3, 2026. We are open to hearing from anyone who has leadership experience, but the ideal applicant will be intimately familiar with QCAA processes.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Design and Technologies department and develop its curriculum and program.
* Drive the utilisation of state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to support student learning.
* Collaborate with other departments to promote school-wide learning outcomes.
* Provide professional development and mentorship for teaching staff.
* Ensure compliance with QCAA requirements and school policies.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications and experience.
* Hold QCT registration or be eligible.
* Leadership experience in a school environment.
* Familiarity with QCAA processes.
