Team Leader
SF People is working with a national Employment Services provider delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) contract (which replaced the previous DES / Disability Employment Services program). The organisation is a not‐for‐profit delivering services across Australia. This is a permanent full‐time opportunity with the ability to start quickly after recruitment. Previous experience working in DES or other Employment Services programs or government‐funded contracts is preferable. Prior supervisory, team‐leadership, management, or contract‐management experience is also preferred as you will be supporting existing teams and reporting to upper management.
Opportunity
The Team Leader will lead and support teams across the region involved in hands‐on service delivery of the federal government contracted IEA service. Responsibilities include supporting client‐serving teams, providing day‐to‐day regional leadership, advising on service delivery, contract management and compliance, assisting with team development, stakeholder management, and community engagement, and upholding organisational values through effective service delivery.
Relevant Experience
* Proven experience within the Employment Services sector, preferably with IEA, DES or complementary programs. Experience in Vocational Rehab, Allied Health or transferable skills from complementary sectors is also considered.
* People‐management experience in a previous leadership, supervisory, team‐leader or management role.
* Ability to manage and motivate teams both remotely and in‐person.
* Experience compiling, delivering or presenting reports and presentations.
* Experience working with people to improve their life experiences, focusing on employment through training, work trials and opportunities.
* Previous case‐management, coaching and mentoring experience—individual or group—conducting appointments, interventions and group activities.
* Excellent time‐management skills and ability to run sessions and appointments on schedule.
* Keen organisational and communication skills, creating a welcoming, supportive and empowering environment for staff and clients alike.
* Attentive, timely and accurate with administrative tasks.
* Ability to work toward regular KPIs, targets and/or deadlines.
* Capable of working autonomously within a team environment and serving as a direct line of support for regional team members.

* This is a full‐time permanent role, ideally based in Wagga Wagga NSW.
* Salary is negotiable based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, qualifications and fit for the role.
