Remuneration: $139,802.04 Per Annum + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

About the role

As the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will lead, direct, and coordinate client care, ensuring nursing practice is safe, efficient, and supported by continual quality improvement. You will oversee the nursing and multidisciplinary team, as well as the business and management functions of the service, to ensure high standards of care and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

* Coordinate and oversee acute home-based care.
* Improve patient flow and reduce length of stay.
* Ensure timely, high-quality, patient-centred care.
* Lead a dedicated team delivering hospital-level care at home.

About you

You are a highly motivated, empathetic, and capable leader with a genuine passion for nursing and achieving positive patient outcomes. You have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to adapt your communication style, and confidence in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

* Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
* Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and recent clinical work experience in the management of acute care with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
* Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work purposes.
* Demonstrated leadership and management capability.
* Strong communication skills and knowledge of clinical governance, quality and safety.
* A collaborative, consultative approach with a strong focus on excellence, quality and innovation.
* The ability to take initiative, generate solutions and drive positive change.

Experience in service development, quality improvement and change management is desirable, and can also be developed in the role.
