Role
This accounts all-rounder position is an integral part of the close-knit finance team. The role is predominantly Accounts Payable (AP), but you will also assist the Senior Accounts Receivable (AR) Officer with bank reconciliations, corporate cards and some collections, among other ad hoc tasks. Experience in both AP/AR and the ability to be adaptable and team-oriented are essential for success in this role. Flexibility is available with start/finish times, and after probation, the opportunity to work from home 1 day per week. There is also an attractive bonus/employee rewards scheme for the successful applicant.
Your primary duties will comprise:
- AP end to end
- Processing payments
- Vendor/data maintenance
- Supplier reconciliations
- Journals
- Staff expenses
- Allocations
- Collections
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoice processing (medium volume)
- FX invoice processing
- Matching/batching coding invoices to PO's
- Back up to AR Officer where required
- Other ad hoc tasks where required
About You
A team player and self-starter, you will be competent across AP/AR functions, have a great learning attitude and a flexible approach to work.
The successful candidate will obtain the following:
- Min 1-3 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Officer/Assistant Accountant position
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously
