Job Description
As Finance Partner, Operational Transformation, you will help strengthen financial discipline, transparency, and value realisation across Suncorp's most material initiatives. You will build robust financial models, embed benefits tracking, and improve cost visibility and governance. You will partner closely with Technology and Operations leaders and Enterprise Delivery to connect delivery metrics to measurable financial outcomes.
What You'll Do
* Lead financial model development for major transformation initiatives, clarifying costs, benefits, and delivery assumptions so leaders can make informed decisions
* Design and implement evidence based benefit tracking, linking operational metrics such as DORA performance, automation coverage, AI tool adoption, and test efficiency to financial outcomes
* Implement financial controls over funding prioritisation and releases, improving cost transparency and supporting clear governance
* Partner with program and business leadership to build shared accountability for financial targets, including progress reporting and value realisation
* Contribute to the uplift of financial management capability across change, improving business case modelling, data capture taxonomies, processes, and forums
* Support steering committees when required, using clear insights to influence decisions that improve financial outcomes
What You'll Bring
* Proven finance business partnering experience, ideally supporting technology, transformation, or enterprise delivery programs, and translating strategy into practical financial advice
* Strong financial modelling capability, including business cases and investment assessments, and the ability to explain assumptions clearly to senior stakeholders
* High data literacy, including confidence using Power BI and related analytics tools to develop insights that improve decisions and transparency
* Experience with benefits realisation and performance tracking frameworks, and an ability to connect delivery metrics to tangible financial outcomes
* Strong cost management and reporting experience within a complex environment, with a practical approach to governance and controls
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar, with CPA, CA, or CFA preferred, or equivalent experience
