Lead Creative Content Producer
This role requires a highly skilled producer to lead a team in creating high-quality content for Brisbane's number one breakfast show. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in live radio production, with a proven track record of delivering standout content.
About the Role
The successful applicant will be responsible for coaching and developing producers and talent, as well as running the daily plan, prioritizing stories, guest strategy, and integrations while coordinating promotions, sales, news, audio, and digital efforts.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement creative direction for the show, ensuring consistency and quality across all content.
* Collaborate with on-air talent to craft engaging story arcs and deliver outstanding results.
* Motivate and guide a team of producers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to ensure exceptional performance.
* Manage operational discipline, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and initiatives.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative ideas into content creation.
Requirements
* Proven experience in live radio production, ideally in breakfast or drive formats.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
* Excellent editorial judgement, with a deep understanding of the target audience and their preferences.
* Able to work effectively in high-pressure environments, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to receive and implement feedback, as well as take direction as per the show and station strategy.
