We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Manager to work with a State Government Department - contract for 6 months duration with possibility of extension
**Key Accountabilities**
- Develop change management strategies and plans in collaboration with the Special Advisor, Regulatory Impact and Reform.
- Consult and engage local implementation change teams to ensure delivery of effective change to relevant business areas.
- Conduct activities that support the Special Advisor, Regulatory Impact and Reform and ensure operational functions and business areas are adequately prepared and ready to adopt change when transition commences.
- Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks and/or issues affecting VBA-wide or local business unit implementation to the Special Advisor, Regulatory Impact and Reform.
- Participate in planning and implementing internal and external stakeholder engagement, communication and education activities jointly with the internal communications team and other relevant government agencies.
- Other duties as directed and commensurate with the seniority and scope of the role.
**Key Selection criteria**
- Experience delivering change (end-to-end) in complex environments, specifically regulatory/legislative reform implementation
- Highly developed internal and external stakeholder management skills with the ability to establish relationships quickly with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations and reports on the status of change projects and identified risks and issues
- Proactive self-starter, ability to work independently
- Creative thinker, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, able to manage competing priorities
**Desirable selection criteria**
- Formal qualifications or accreditation in change management or other relevant areas, combined with extensive relevant work experience.
- Change Management Practitioner Certification (PCI accreditation highly regarded).
