The Role
We are looking for part-time Lifestyle Assistant to empower and engage with our Residents to maximise their participation in Leisure and Lifestyle programs
Our focus for residents is what best suits their individual needs and wants, our activities officers facilitate this through :
- Participation in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans
- Supporting residents to engage in their leisure and lifestyle choices and activities
- Supporting staff and volunteers in provision of leisure and lifestyle programs
Requirements of the role
- Experience in an Aged Care or supporting Residents with lifestyle and leisure programs
- Ability to provide high quality Leisure and Lifestyle programs towards improved customer wellbeing.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently as well as participate in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understanding of relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the aged and community care environment.
To be successful
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual support
- Experience in care role highly regarded
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Complete a police check
- NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
