Job Summary
As an Admin Assistant – Visits, you'll provide high-quality administrative and customer service support within the Visits area at Clarence Correctional Centre. You'll help ensure visitors, staff and inmates experience a professional, respectful and efficient service while supporting the day‐to‐day operations of the Centre. Working in a fast‐paced environment, you'll play an important role in maintaining accurate records, managing visit bookings and supporting communication across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
* Managing visit bookings and entering accurate information into the OIMS system
* Providing professional reception and telephone support to visitors and stakeholders
* Maintaining confidential inmate and visitor information in line with policies and procedures
* Supporting smooth communication between departments regarding visitor processes
* Responding to enquiries clearly, respectfully and professionally
* Assisting with general administrative duties, record keeping and data entry tasks
Qualifications
* Experience providing administrative or customer service support in a busy environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
* Ability to prioritise competing tasks and manage workloads effectively
* High attention to detail with accurate data entry and record management skills
* Certificate III or IV in Business Administration (desired but not essential)
