About the Role
The Veteran Housing and Support Administrator is responsible for providing efficient enquiry coordination and administrative support to the Housing and Veteran Services team who assist veterans and their families seeking housing or other support services to address homelessness, issues putting them at risk of homelessness, or otherwise threatening their housing stability.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be kind and passionate about providing efficient and professional services to veterans and their families, and the broader team with the purpose of providing stable housing and support options.
You will also have:
* Demonstrated ability to carry out duties with a customer service orientation.
* Experience in maintenance software systems
* Proven effective and kind communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated numeracy skills.
* Work co-operatively as part of a team and independently as required within the scope of this role.
* Effectively manage time, organise workload and manage competing demands when necessary
* Strong advanced computer literacy with emphasis on data management, Microsoft Office and internet
* Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (Vic) and provide proof of rights to work in Australia.
