Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this integral role provides support to the business and presents an opportunity to play a key role in the maintenance of the world's largest W Hotel.
Responsibilities
* Carries out urgent and non‐urgent maintenance requests
* Supports the engineering team day‐to‐day operations
* Supports and drives improved guest experiences
* Assists external contractors and outsourced preventative maintenance programs
* Monitors stock levels of critical spares
* Carrying out preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the property room preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines
* Supports and innovates energy, water and waste conservation programs
* Supports fire life safety, security and asset protection at the Hotel
Requirements
* Minimum one year experience in engineering/facilities
* Hospitality experience will be advantageous
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
* EWP license advantageous
