The Job
* Flexible with working varied hours, including weekends and overtime with penalty rates
* Work to deliver high levels of service to our customers through effectively transporting general freight supporting the community
* Take responsibility for safely and securely loading and unloading a variety of freight with some manual handling of parcel freight
* Completing daily vehicle inspections and necessary paperwork including pre-start checks as well as filling out run sheets, PODs and logbooks
* Operate a forklift or pallet jack to load and unload general freight
Qualifications
* Hold a current MR license and Forklift Ticket (LF) with proven experience operating a Heavy Vehicle for a minimum of 2 years
* A strong level of resilience and ability to problem solve coupled with the capability to work within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers
* Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, as well as a criminal history check if required
