We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager who is a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills to guide our Quality Assurance Team based at our Head Office in Melbourne.

Position is permanent full time, Monday to Friday and reports directly to the Marketing Director.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The role will be regulatory in nature and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Management, administration, review and update of HACCP and ISO 9001 Management Systems
- Preparation and maintenance of quality documentation and records for head office and interstate branches
- Handling and covering regulatory issues with Food Standards Code
- Reviewing product labels and following up with amendments till labels are approved
- Product development and food quality compliance for all product labels and product packaging
- Supplier maintenance and Approved Supplier program updates and record keeping
- Maintenance of product specifications including creation or update
- Fielding and investigating supplier, customer and consumer complaints including records and follow ups and maintaining trend analysis
- Reporting on the performance of the Quality System and identifying any opportunities for improvement
- Initiating action to prevent any nonconformities occurring with the products, process and Quality System
- Being point of contact for external auditors and assessment bodies in dealing with all quality issues
- Conducting and participating in internal and external audits
- NCR Register updates, keeping and records
- Food Safety Training
- Pest Control report keeping and maintaining trend analysis
- Mock Recall Report Writing
- Warehouse Records Audit
- Liaising with internal departments
- At all times providing superior customer service and administrative support
- All other duties as requested by Marketing Director
**All applicants must have**:
- Food standards (industry experience) and Food Legal
- Experience with quality systems such as ISO and HACCP
- Qualification in food technology and quality food safety training
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Competent in Word
