Overview
Our client is a leading HVAC and building services contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering high‐quality mechanical solutions across commercial, healthcare, data centre, infrastructure and industrial projects throughout NSW. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to play a key role in the design, delivery and successful execution of complex HVAC projects from concept through to commissioning.
Responsibilities
* Design HVAC systems in accordance with NCC requirements and Australian Standards.
* Produce, review and coordinate design documentation, drawings and technical submissions.
* Provide technical guidance and support to drafting teams.
* Conduct design reviews and checks for secured projects.
* Assess subcontractor and supplier submissions for technical compliance.
* Support project delivery teams throughout installation, testing and commissioning phases.
* Provide engineering solutions to technical and design challenges.
* Manage project documentation including drawings, specifications and reports.
Qualifications
We would love to talk to people with experience as a Senior HVAC Design Engineer, Mechanical Designer or Senior Mechanical Engineer within HVAC. Experience on projects including healthcare, data centres and infrastructure with values from $10 million and over, and Design & Construct experience is a must.
Salary
Salary for this role is $140-180K plus super depending on experience.
