About the role
We are seeking a WHS Coordinator to join the team on a 15‐month fixed‐term contract (parental leave cover).
This is a flexible opportunity that can suit someone earlier in their career looking to build experience, or a more experienced professional seeking part‐time or flexible working arrangements. We're open to shaping the role based on experience and availability.
You will support the delivery of workplace health, safety and compliance across our contractors, clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
* Support WHS processes, systems and compliance across the business
* Assist with risk assessments, incident management and follow‐ups
* Coordinate contractor safety check‐ins and general WHS queries
* Support onboarding and ongoing compliance requirements
* Maintain accurate records and reporting
* Assist with client WHS activities, including documentation and site visits where required
About you
* Tertiary qualification ideally in WHS, HS, business or a related discipline
* Minimum 2 years' experience in WHS
* Understanding of WHS legislation and environments (office, WFH and site‐based), including processes such as injury management and return to work
* Understanding of labour hire environments (desirable but not required)
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* A practical, proactive approach to problem‐solving
* Ability to manage tasks and follow through on outcomes
* Comfortable working across systems and documentation
