Our Regency Park facility features modern offices and two well‐equipped workshops, including hydraulic test benches, a clean room, cylinder remanufacturing benches with honing machine, machine shop, fabrication area, and paint booth.
You will join a highly skilled local team across Engineering, Sales, Electrical, Automation, Stores, Purchasing and Mechanical Trades—ensuring strong technical and operational support.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Hydraulic Technician to join our Regency Park branch.
This is a hands‐on role offering a combination of workshop and site‐based work across metro and regional South Australia, with occasional interstate travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general mechanical fitting and hydraulic service work
* Troubleshoot, fault‐find and service hydraulic systems
* Repair and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and motors
* Assemble and commission components for new builds and engineered projects
* Maintain tools, equipment and housekeeping to high safety standards
* Provide mentoring and guidance to apprentices and trades staff
* Complete site service work and breakdown response as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Fitter or similar
* Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding capability
* Experience in hydraulic systems (preferred, though training will be provided)
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Experience operating manual lathe and milling machines (desirable)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
