Compassionate Care WA – Disability Support Worker
Overview
Compassionate Care WA is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to deliver high‐quality care to individuals with complex needs in SIL accommodation settings in Toodyay and Northam.
Responsibilities
* Support 1–1 residents in daily living activities (bathing, dressing, medication management, meal preparation)
* Document health, behaviour and progress, reporting concerns to management and nursing team
* Organise and facilitate social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance wellbeing
* Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for all residents
* Communicate effectively with residents, families and the wider care team
* Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent disability services qualification
* Minimum 2 years residential experience, ideally within disability support, supporting complex participants with behaviours of concern
* Medication competent with proven experience
* Car owner with full driver's licence, prepared to travel up to 30–45 minutes
* Working with Children and NDIS Screener required; right to work in Australia
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring and empathetic approach
* Strong organisational and time management abilities, capacity to multitask effectively
Pay & Working Hours
Pay: $775 weekday, $1,200 Saturday, $1,450 Sunday, $1,725 public holiday.
Shifts: 24‐hour rotations (8 am–8 am) with inactive sleep shift. Max 2 shifts per week, including days, nights and weekends.
Travel & Availability
Require availability to travel up to 30–45 minutes from base to Toodyay or Northam sites.
