This role is ideal for an analytical leader with deep expertise and market research experience in trading platforms and a strong network in financial services, particularly within fintech, brokerages, and investment firms.Key Responsibilities:Work directly with customers to collect, analyze requirements, and propose suitable solutions.Develop features and solutions for products and services, including conceptualization and documentation such as functional descriptions, user requirements, and product development documents.Collaborate with the Sales team to build and manage C-level relationships with brokers, funds, financial advisors, and institutional clients across AU and APAC, including product demonstrations.Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams to shape solution design and ensure market relevance.Provide ongoing insights into market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs to inform business strategy.Requirements:5+ years of experience as a business analyst or in progressive sales within financial services, ideally in trading tech, OMS, or wealth platforms.Understanding of the software development process.Ability to analyze, design, and produce documents for software development projects.Effective communication skills with internal teams and customers to clarify functional requirements.Excellent stakeholder management at both C-suite and operational levels.Strong entrepreneurial and execution mindset: capable of building, driving, and owning outcomes.Based in Australia or open to relocation; willing to travel across APAC for business purposes.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.Additional Details:Senior level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Research, Analyst, and Information Technology
