The Role
We are seeking First Class Welders to work on the Karratha branch facility in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The position is full‐time permanent and available for immediate start in workshop and site work.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Recognized trade qualification in welding/fabrication, having completed an apprenticeship or accredited qualification.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience working on sites in heavy industry or mining.
* Ability to meet ZERO Harm culture and behaviours.
* Successfully pass a pre‐employment medical, LABDAS and random screenings.
* Interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
* Competent in FCAW, GMAW, SAW, and GTAW welding processes.
* Able to pass a 6GR weld test.
* Honest, reliable, positive attitude and able to promote a positive work culture.
* Be able to examine and review welds (specifically width of bead, penetration and precision).
* Use various methods (filing, polishing, chiseling and grinding to clean/smooth welds and finish products).
