About Bright Steps Academy

Our brand-new Horsham Centre will provide a nurturing, engaging environment for children aged 0 to 6 years, where they can explore, learn, and grow. We partner with families to create a warm, inclusive space where every child is respected, supported, and encouraged to shine.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Centre Director to lead our brand-new Horsham Centre on a 12-month maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children, families, and educators while driving excellence in early childhood education and care. The role will begin as 2IC, with a transition to Centre Director to ensure a smooth handover.
What You'll Do
* Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to deliver high-quality education and care
* Build meaningful relationships with children, families, educators, and the wider community
* Ensure compliance with NQF, regulations, and our strong child safety commitments
* Oversee daily operations, enrolments, and centre growth
* Foster a culture of collaboration, wellbeing, and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring
* Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
* Demonstrated leadership experience in a childcare or early learning setting
* Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and regulatory frameworks
* Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills
* A genuine passion for creating a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for every child
