Job Description
Redpath is expanding operations at the Olympic Dam Mine in South Australia, with the development of 4th and 5th portals and new declines from surface. This is a rare opportunity to work on one of the largest uranium and copper mining operations in the world, on a long term project with strong growth potential.
The Role
* Roster: 14 days on/14 days off (12 hour rotating shifts)
* Location: Olympic Dam Mine, SA
* Equipment: Jumbo's, Loaders, Agi trucks, Cable Bolters, Normet Shotcrete Rigs, etc.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical work to a high standard in line with statutory requirements
* Complete maintenance and repairs safely and efficiently
* Fault finding, diagnostics, and component replacement
* Identify, assess, and manage workplace risks
* Contribute positively to a strong safety and team culture
Qualifications
* 5 years minimum experience in underground development mining
* Current Electrical Licence
* Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills
* CPR & LVR certification (or ability to obtain)
* Manual driver's licence
* Ability to pass a Police Check and Pre Employment Medical
* Positive, proactive attitude aligned with Redpath's motto: "Consider it done — safely."
