Our Presentation Services Team Members play an integral role in ensuring the immaculate presentation of the Centre across all scheduled events.
We are looking for team members who are:
* Experienced in working in a busycleaning environment acrossa large venueor commercial cleaning operation;
* Previous team supervisory experience (preferred);
* Have the ability to work with large numbers of patrons congregated in the Centre's public areas;
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a fast paced environment high level attention to detail and thorough cleaning standards;
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks;
* A commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service;
* Positive energy and physical fitness for a hands‐on role;
* Health & Safety standards in relation to the handling of all equipment & chemicals;
* Repairs & Maintenance capabilities will be looked upon favorable/ but not essential.
The role:
* Assisting the Senior Cleaning Supervisor with supervisory responsibilities, including safety and operational tasks.
* Act as backup to the Senior Cleaning Supervisor when required
* The role will include keeping the site maintained to a standard as well as general cleaning of site and amenities, emptying bins, ensuring general tidiness. We have a set schedule of tasks to be completed prior to, during events and post events.

The Newcastle Entertainment Centre services a population base in excess of one million patrons. From Coffs Harbour in the north, west to Armidale and Moree as well as the Central Coast of New South Wales. It is located six minutes from the centre of Newcastle within the Newcastle Showground.
