In all, the company supports fleet reliability, availability and capability for more than 40% of the ADF's aircraft types.We are seeking an experienced EHS Execution Lead to join the Sustainment Operations EHS team, based in Amberley with occasional travel to other program sites.This role is responsible for supporting the implementation and continual improvement of the Boeing EHS Management System across Sustainment Operations. Working under the direction of the EHS Operations Manager, you will help plan and deliver EHS programs and processes to support compliance and maintain a safe, healthy work environment.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the implementation of EHS policies, procedures and processes across the Sustainment Operations business unitCoordinating EHS execution plans at program/business unit levelProviding technical oversight and advice on complex EHS mattersIdentifying, managing and escalating program and business-level risks and opportunitiesReporting on EHS performance to relevant stakeholders, including customer and business leadershipSkills & ExperienceTo be successful in this role you will have:EssentialTertiary qualification in Health, safety and Environment with at least 10 years of EHS experience in an operational environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal direction and the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.Thorough knowledge of Australian WHS and Environmental laws, regulations and reporting requirements.Demonstrated knowledge and application of the ISO 14001 and 45001 standards.Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet target dates in a very fast-paced environment.Demonstrated experience working within a highly regulated environment; andDesirableWorking knowledge or familiarity with Defence/Aerospace Industry.Experience working in complex manufacturing or high hazard facilities.Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
