The Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Officer with cybersecurity ambitions who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the success of an enterprise-level IT team while growing their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and triage security alerts (SIEM, XDR, EDR, NDR)
- Escalate and document incidents, record findings in ticketing systems
- Investigate suspicious logs and activity
About You:
We are seeking someone who is ambitious, a strong communicator, and eager to learn. This role is suited to someone passionate about providing IT support and is eager to develop their cybersecurity capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- 2+ years of experience in a desktop or remote IT support role.
- Eagerness to learn and progress within the cybersecurity space
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365, with a robust technical foundation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage collaborative teams.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to upskill and adapt in a dynamic IT landscape.
Requirements:
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Blue and Yellow Cards (or willingness to obtain).
- Availability to work on-site full-time at Eight Mile Plains (Monday to Friday).
