The head chef will be the creative force behind a menu that celebrates fresh local ingredients, succulent seafood whilst leading a small team of 3-4 kitchen staff.
Package
- Full-time, permanent position
- $80,000 - $90,000 salary (Negotiable)
- Free private accommodation (hotel room with ensuite, just upstairs!)
- All meals provided
Responsibilities
- Leading all kitchen operations with confidence and care
- Designing seasonal menus and daily specials
- Managing stock, costings, ordering, and kitchen budgets
- Rostering and hands-on staff training
- Preparing meals for lunch and dinner service
- Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
- Enhancing the guest experience through quality food and service

What You'll Need
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (mandatory)
- Previous experience as a Head or Sous Chef in a busy kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A passion for fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients
- Willingness to relocate and commit long-term
- Police clearance (upon request)
- Own transport preferred (access via sealed roads)
