We are seeking a passionate Secondary Physical Education Teacher to join our collaborative team in a 0.36 FTE fixed-term role (1 year contract), commencing July 2026.
Located close to Perth and operating on a northern hemisphere calendar, ISWA is a non-denominational, independent school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. With over 60 nationalities represented, we value diversity, inclusion, and international‐mindedness across all aspects of school life.
About the role
* Deliver engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate PE lessons to secondary students
* Promote lifelong physical activity, teamwork, and wellbeing
* Plan and implement high-quality learning experiences aligned with the curriculum
* Assess and monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback
* Contribute to the co-curricular and sporting life of the school
* Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

* Has experience teaching Physical Education in a school setting
* Is passionate about student wellbeing, sport, and physical activity
* Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues
* Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
* Demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning
* Supports the values of international-mindedness and inclusive education
