Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a track record in delivering projects involving water and/or wastewater treatment. Bringing an appetite for building and maintaining strong client relationships and a passion for contributing to a high performing team, you will utilise your expertise to deliver complex and ambitious water & wastewater treatment projects for our clients in our Northern NSW region and nationally. Playing a lead role, you'll have a balance of technical work, design management, project management, operational support, business development, client engagement and support the continued growth of our team's capabilities through mentoring.
Responsibilities
* Delivering various and significant NSW, Australian and international water and wastewater treatment projects, by understanding clients' needs
* Using your technical, project management and client relationship skills for the delivery and technical guidance of proposals, investigations and technical design projects
* Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of technical reports, designs & specifications, client proposals and presentations
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering, coupled with at least 8 years of experience in water or wastewater treatment process engineering, concept design and detailed design
* The ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle
* Strong client relationship skills, project management skills, and experience in preparing winning proposals
* Design or planning skills in water or wastewater treatment, including process design, producing technical reports, developing engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation for water or wastewater treatment infrastructure
* Experience with using process design software, with experience in plant hydraulics being highly desirable
* Project management or design management experience, together with a willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staff
