OSHC Assistant Coordinator | St Ives Public

Partnering with parents and school communities, at Junior Adventures Group (JAG) our goal is to help today's children navigate their tomorrow by supporting children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Our Outside School Hours Care service, St Ives Public Primary OSHCare, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 20 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.

You'll work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30am-9:00am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00pm-6:00pm (Stay and Play). Extra hours are also available during school holidays.

Responsibilities

* Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centred program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft.
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
* Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
* Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

Qualifications

* Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact.
* Communicates clearly and confidently.
* Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role.
* Has or is willing to obtain a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
* Has Australian work rights.
* Has a relevant qualification or is studying towards one that meets ACECQA requirements for OSHC.
