Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) are eager to recruit a Senior Dietitian to join our dedicated team at our brand-recent Modbury Mental Health Rehab Unit, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.
About the Role:
The Modbury Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit offers contemporary, evidence based, and high quality rehabilitation services. The Dietitian as a part of a multidisciplinary team plays a key role in delivering person centred, trauma informed care within a collaborative environment. The MMHRU delivers rehabilitation services that are compassionate, solution focused, promoting skill development, social inclusion, and supporting consumers to achieve their recovery goals. Staff work in close connection with both Wondakka (Community Rehabilitation Centre) and The Gully services, supporting mental health rehabilitation service innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and co-design.
As a Senior Dietitian, you'll provide specialised nutrition assessment, diagnosis and treatment interventions for consumers in the Modbury Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit. You'll provide expert consultancy and guidance for the multidisciplinary team regarding nutrition issues relevant to the treatment and rehabilitation of consumers. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of Mental Health Rehabilitation Services for NALHN.
To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership with Dietitians Australia (DA).
