About CSB

Crop Shop Boutique (CSB) is a fast-growing Australian e-commerce brand redefining athleisure since its launch in 2019. Our mission is to empower women worldwide, blending style, function, and confidence in every piece we create. Our team focuses on relentlessly raising the bar, practicality, and fearlessness.

Role

The Production Manager plays a pivotal role in driving product development and end-to-end supply chain management within the Product department. This is a strategic role focused on optimising CSB's supply chain efficiency, ensuring every garment meets our quality, fit, and aesthetic standards while safeguarding brand integrity and achieving targeted initial margin (IMU) goals. You will lead the production, collaborating with Design to bring concepts to life, and manage relationships with local and offshore suppliers. You will act as the key link between CSB's internal teams and production partners, taking full ownership of the development process for all CSB products—from initial brief to final delivery—while identifying opportunities to enhance speed-to-market, cost effectiveness, and operational excellence. Reporting to the Head of Product and Supply Chain, you will work with internal stakeholders (Design and Planning) and external partners (key suppliers) to ensure design and production timelines are met and collections are delivered seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive continuous optimisation of CSB's global supply chain while ensuring alignment with ethical, social, environmental, and quality standards.
* Own and enforce Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and critical path adherence across the production team and supply chain.
* Develop seasonal production budgets to manage cost control and margin management.
* Take full responsibility for all bulk purchase orders, managing third-party QC partners to achieve 100% DIFOT.
* Lead annual and seasonal supplier capacity planning to align production capabilities with business growth.
* Source, assess, and onboard new suppliers that meet CSB's strategic needs and brand standards.
* Conduct annual supplier reviews and maintain up-to-date ethical certifications and compliance with country-of-origin regulations, labelling, product safety, and sustainability targets.
* Proactively identify potential production, quality, or costing issues and recommend solutions accordingly.
* Oversee and execute all fabric sourcing, development, and testing requirements.
* Own and maintain the PLM system in partnership with the COO and related production/supply chain software.
* Ensure data integrity, process compliance, and drive continuous system improvements for efficiency and visibility.
* Lead process optimisation initiatives such as supplier scorecards, workflow digitisation, and sustainable sourcing strategies.
* Establish and track performance metrics for production, including DIFOT, cost savings, supplier performance, sustainability targets, and quality pass rates.
* Present regular supplier performance reports to the senior leadership team.
* Manage, mentor, and develop the Garment Technician and Product Development teams, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless product delivery and cross-functional alignment.

About You

* Training in Fashion Design/Development or Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Design or similar.
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a production manager role or similar.
* Demonstrated experience dealing with offshore manufacturing suppliers.
* Demonstrated experience leading and managing product development teams.
* Strong knowledge of product development process, garment construction, and local and offshore production supply chain management.
* Excellent understanding of garment specifications, product development and production process.
* Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD.
* Experience in active wear is preferred.
* Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills to meet business timelines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective rapport building across varied audiences.
* Outstanding attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to work to deadlines and independently.
* Positive and professional demeanour.

Why Join CSB?

* Hybrid work model – balance of in-office and WFH.
* Short Term Incentive Program.
* Parental leave package for both parents.
* State-of-the-art gym at CSB HQ.
* Competitive staff discounts.
* Be part of our mission to empower women worldwide.
* Exciting team events and initiatives.
