Role Overview
Salty is looking for a Graphic Designer who doesn't just "design" but builds a creative culture. Someone who speaks design and fashion as a language, who knows that a font, a color, a texture can change how people feel about a brand. This role is for someone experimental, bold, and unafraid to break sweet patterns while still having the discipline to create timeless design systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and evolve the brand's visual language across campaigns, packaging, digital, and retail.
* Experiment with fresh formats, aesthetics, and design styles to keep the brand culturally sharp.
* Translate abstract ideas into powerful, bold, and polished visuals.
* Create brand identities and collateral that feel more like fashion editorial than just "ads."
* Lead and mentor a small design team.
* Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure design is consistent and distinct.
* Stay plugged into fashion, design, and youth culture to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience in design/art direction, ideally at a fashion, lifestyle, or culture-first brand.
* Degree/Diploma from NIFT, NID, Srishti, Pearl Academy, or similar design schools preferred.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other key tools.
* Confident with AI‐based design tools and open to experimenting with new mediums.
* Strong experience creating brand identities, guidelines, and visual systems.
* Packaging design skills are a strong plus.
* Eye for aesthetics that balance boldness with good taste.
* Prior experience leading a design team or projects end-to-end is an advantage.
* A portfolio that showcases experimentation, a fashion sensibility, and strong storytelling ability.
