Job Duties
* Under general supervision, supervises, directs, and performs all phases of the rigging up and down of service line equipment on work locations both on and offshore.
* Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer related support activities.
* Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
* Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
* Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of data at the well.
* Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations at the well site, and ensures customer satisfaction with results.
* Properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation.
* Conducts pre-job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative, and manages any changes required.
Qualifications
* Must be able to review information received from Business Development to confirm best practices are followed and that proposed job plans meet customer's expectations in the most efficient manner.
* Must be able to communicate with other PSLs and third parties to ensure tool and well site activity compatibility.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.
* Good mathematical acumen is required.
* Good reading comprehension and writing skills are required.
* Skills acquired through completion of high school diploma and 9 years experience in oil field drilling activities including 5 years of underbalanced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
* Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec III‐GBA.
