SRG Global is currently looking for Coded Welders to work a 5-day local Shutdown in Kwinana. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaigns, grouped/batched programs, as well as completing both preventative and corrective maintenance. This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment
* Main shutdown – Commences on the 10th November till 14th November
Flexibility:
* Casual Flat Rate.
* 12 Hour Days Night Shift/Day Shift.
The Opportunity:
* welding and structural fabrication, including structural steel and pressure pipe (6G)
* Shutdown maintenance of fixed plant systems such as thickeners, pumps, chutes, hoppers, tanks, piping, ductwork, and structural supports
* Repairs and replacements to worn components, pipework, and structural elements
* Mechanical fitting support (as per trade capabilities)
* Cleaning, prepping, and assisting in confined space and height-access areas
* Interpreting drawings and specifications to complete tasks to spec and schedule
What You Need:
* Ability to pass a 6G Weld Test
* Trade Certificate – Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade.
* Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
* Pass a pre-employment medical.
* Hold a current driver's license.
