* Manage and support a team of supervisors, allocators/schedulers and drivers.
* Move the function from basic allocation to true scheduling and optimisation.
* Analyse operational constraints such as delays, forklift availability, site layouts and drive continuous improvement in partnership with site teams.
* Use data from multiple systems and Excel to understand trends and build simple reporting.
* Identify causes of demurrage, long wait times and driver delays, and implement solutions to reduce cost and improve flow.
* Support major investment decisions by identifying on‐site bottlenecks and required improvements.
* Contribute to broader state leadership discussions and influence transport strategy and planning.
This role is based in Hemmant with travel to other sites across Queensland.
