Job Summary
As a Development Engineer Electronics, you'll be responsible for the research and development of electronic circuits, products and control solutions for global Signify Dynalite Connected Lighting systems and propositions.
Responsibilities
* Research into new technologies, electronic components, and circuits.
* Development of electrical hardware for lighting controls from concept to completion.
* Design verification and validation to ensure required functionality, compliance, quality, cost and manufacturability.
* Liaise with other local and global R&D colleagues and teams, material suppliers and manufacturers worldwide.
Qualifications
* BSc/MSc degree in Electronics or Mechatronic Engineering with 2+ years of commercial experience in analogue & digital electronics design.
* Strong proficiency in Altium E‐CAD (PCB Design) and MS Office suite.
* Experience with SolidWorks M‐CAD, Adobe suite and programming languages such as C, C++ and Python.
* Design experience with digital wired and wireless communication PHY layers, microcontroller circuits and peripherals, analogue and digital circuits, and power supplies.
* Understanding of IEC/EN and UL standards.
* Ability to work unsupervised, take ownership of tasks and projects, and apply project‐management fundamentals in a global multi‐site, multi‐cultural R&D and manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrated hands‐on practical skills with the ability to build and test prototypes.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
