Job Description
Looking to kick off a hands‐on career with real purpose? At Cadia, you won't just learn a trade—you'll become part of a supportive crew who are passionate about helping you grow. From day one, you'll be backed by mentors, friendly teammates, and technical pros who'll guide you every step of the way. You'll pick up valuable life skills, gain industry knowledge, and learn from some of the best in the business.
Just 25 minutes from Orange, NSW, Cadia is home to Australia's largest block cave—so if you're curious about cutting‐edge mining techniques and want to be part of something big, this is the place to be.
Ready to work on the vehicles that keep the mine site moving? As a LIGHT VEHICLE apprentice, you'll be maintaining and repairing all the smaller vehicles that get things done—think utes, 4WDs, vans, and more! From routine servicing like oil changes, brake checks, and tire rotations to troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, you'll keep the fleet running smoothly and safely. Every day is a new challenge to diagnose and fix problems, ensuring the vehicles are in top shape and ready for action.
