Overview
We are looking for a Team Leader for Family Violence Outreach to support and guide a dedicated team across the Darwin region. This permanent full‐time position supports daily operations, focuses on trauma‐informed, child‐focused practice, and ensures services are safe, consistent and aligned with best practice.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a dedicated team delivering specialist family violence outreach services.
* Oversee daily operations to ensure services are safe, consistent and aligned with best practice.
* Provide reflective supervision, coaching and guidance that builds confidence and resilience.
* Support intake, assessment and case management processes, including holding a small caseload where needed.
* Monitor service performance, quality, risk and compliance, escalating issues appropriately.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with government agencies, community partners and sector networks.
* Contribute to program development, service improvements and implementation of practice frameworks.
* Ensure accurate client records, reporting and data integrity.
* Promote a safe, inclusive and culturally responsive service environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree qualification in Social Work or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in the family violence sector, including case management and outreach or residential services.
* Experience leading or supervising staff in a community services environment.
* Strong understanding of trauma‐informed practice, risk assessment and safety planning.
* Highly effective communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience managing resources, budgets and service performance.
* Ability to work collaboratively, think critically and respond calmly in complex situations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client management systems.
* NT Driver's Licence.
