**About the Role**:

Reporting to the Store Manager, as a Sales Representative, you will develop new business opportunities and grow the territory. You will identify trends and customer needs, build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline by operational targets, develop strategies for new business and assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies that achieve strategic goals.
Permanent position Monday - Friday 07H30 - 16H00, no Saturdays.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised, targeted sales strategies.
- Building business relationships with current and potential customers.
- Understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential customer questions and follow-up enquiries.
- Collaborating with Store Manager to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
- Meeting with potential clients at required locations.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients and their information.
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers; closing sales, and working with the customer through the closing process.
- Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
- Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.
- Collaborating with Store Manager on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short
- and long-term business development plans.
- Assist the Store Manager with developing and implementing product and sales training with internal sales staff.
- Assist on Sales Counter & in the warehouse as required.

- Proven sales experience in the construction and industrial sector with intimate knowledge of the sales process from initiation to close is preferred, but not a MUST HAVE.
- Ability to maintain effective customer relationships.
- Persuasive and goal-oriented.
- Possesses a professional, energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour.
- Ability to professionally and confidently communicate at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as an effective team member.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience.
- Conscientious and prompt team player.
- Must be an Australian / New Zealand resident or citizen. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. (No temporary visas, unfortunately).
