Wests Group Macarthur is a leading hospitality group operating multiple venues across the Macarthur region. With a strong focus on integrity, customer experience and community, we are seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to lead our compliance, risk management, governance and regulatory frameworks across the Group.

This is a critical leadership role partnering closely with the Executive team, Managers and frontline teams to ensure regulatory excellence, strengthen risk capability, and support strong operational outcomes.

About The Role

Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for overseeing all compliance, risk and governance functions across the Group. You will play a key role in embedding best‐practice compliance standards, proactively managing risk, and fostering a culture of accountability and integrity across all venues. This position has company-wide oversight across all regulatory obligations, including gaming, liquor, WHS, employment, privacy and corporate governance, with a key focus on leading and continuously strengthening the Group's AML/CTF Program in line with AUSTRAC requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and maintain the Group's compliance framework, including policies, procedures, registers and audit schedules.
* Ensure compliance with key legislation and regulatory frameworks including gaming, liquor, Fair Work, WHS, Privacy and AML/CTF.
* Act as the Group's AML/CTF Compliance Officer, with overall responsibility for the effectiveness of the AML/CTF Program.
* Lead AML/CTF risk assessments, transaction monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure accurate and timely submission of AUSTRAC reporting obligations (including SMRs and TTRs).
* Monitor legislative and regulatory changes across all compliance areas and provide proactive, practical advice to leaders.
* Lead internal audits, compliance reviews and risk assessments across the full compliance landscape.
* Identify compliance risks and partner with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Prepare compliance, risk and regulatory reports for Executive and Board‐level governance.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulators including AUSTRAC, Liquor & Gaming NSW and SafeWork NSW.
* Deliver compliance and AML/CTF training programs to uplift capability across all venues.
* Lead, coach and develop the Compliance team.
What You'll Bring
* 3–5 years' experience in compliance, risk or regulatory roles (hospitality or gaming highly regarded).
* Strong working knowledge of gaming, liquor, WHS, Fair Work and AML/CTF frameworks.
* Demonstrated experience in audits, policy development and regulatory reporting.
* Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Current RSA and RCG (or ability to obtain).
* Current driver's licence.
* Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Risk, Governance or a related discipline.
