We are seeking experienced House Managers with strong Supported Accommodation experience in the disability sector to lead and inspire teams across homes, located in the SE suburbs of Melbourne.
This role combines:
* Operational oversight of accommodation house and house staff
* People leadership and stakeholder engagement
Reporting directly to an Area Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, person-centred and empowering environments for participants.

About the Role
As House Manager, you will:
* Lead by using a person-centred active support approach
* Oversee the daily operations of supported accommodation homes
* Work directly "on the floor", providing hands‐on participant support where required
* Support participants with personal care, daily living activities, meal preparation and community access
* Assist in coordinating staff rosters, monitor absenteeism and elevate concerns
* Conduct team meetings and provide regular staff supervision
* Ensure incidents are managed and reported in line with policy, legislative and compliance frameworks
* Support house-level budgeting and participant expenditure monitoring
* Maintain high-quality documentation and compliance standards
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, allied health professionals and care teams
* Promote independence, dignity, choice and control for participants
You will provide house oversight while remaining actively engaged in direct service delivery. This includes supporting participants with all aspects of daily living and fostering meaningful relationships that enhance wellbeing and quality of life.
About you
We are specifically seeking candidates with:
* 3+ years' experience in Supported Accommodation roles
* Strong background in the Disability sector
* Demonstrated experience supporting participants within the NDIS framework, including those with complex behaviours of concern, Behaviour Support Plans, High Intensity Supports, multiple and complex needs, and involvement with Child, Youth & Family (CYF) and DFFH frameworks
* Proven ability to manage and develop staff teams
* Rostering and workforce coordination skills
* Certificate IV in Disability, community services or similar, highly regarded
* You are calm under pressure, compliance-driven, participant-focused and passionate about quality outcomes.
