Career Pathways Outreach & Engagement Manager
15‐month maternity leave contract, full‐time, salary $105‐110k inclusive of super. East Melbourne office (3002) with hybrid work arrangement. Lead initiatives to support industry apprentices, career pathways & skills.
What you'll be doing
* Leading and mentoring 1 direct report, fostering a positive team culture
* Driving outreach initiatives; career expos, roadshows, and events
* Building relationships with TAFEs, education providers, RTOs, and industry stakeholders
* Delivering engaging presentations to promote career pathways
* Identifying skill shortages and supporting development initiatives
* Managing and coordinating career‐focused projects and programs
* Collaborating with internal teams to align strategy and delivery
* Providing guidance to apprentices, employers, and industry members
* Overseeing day‐to‐day operations to ensure smooth delivery

What we're looking for
* Experience managing at least 1 direct report
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building skills
* Experience working with RTOs or within the broader VET sector
* Understanding of apprenticeships, training or career pathways
* Exposure to, or interest in learning about the construction industry
* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
* A genuine passion for developing people and future career pathways
