About the business and the role

Dynamic Composite Technologies (DCTech) incorporating Proctor Group Australia and NVelope brands is proudly 100% Australian owned and operated with over thirty years' experience in offering systems solutions that incorporate our comprehensive range of technically advanced products:

* Thermal and acoustic insulation.
* Rainscreen cladding sub framing systems and fixings

We are leading the industry in building envelope technology, driven by the desire to improve Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ), energy efficiency, durability and fire safety of commercial and residential buildings. We are currently expanding our business and want you to be a part of it!

Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, including car allowance plus super is available to the successful candidate.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated individual with a technical background and experience in internal and external technical sales & specification, product compliance, managing testing, and the design and development of technical documentation and sales tools.

Based in Sydney, the successful candidate will collaborate nationally with our talented team to provide our customers and sales team with detailed commercial and technical support. Exceptional applicants interested in working out of our Melbourne office will also be considered.

Relevant industry experience is preferable.

YOU

Did you love playing with Lego as a child (or still do)? Pull apart toys to see how they tick? Are you naturally inquisitive? Are you interested in how a building works and how it all comes together! These are the attributes that would ideally suit our candidate.

It is essential that you have/are:

* Suitable qualifications in engineering, construction or similar
* An understanding of the construction industry technology and be able to read drawings.
* Either experience, or a strong interest in modelling
* Ability to work with a tight net team
* Motivated, punctual, dependable with a strong work ethic and sense of integrity
* Can work autonomously, without supervision
JOB TASKS
* Manage our testing programme and compliance documentation of our entire product range
* Support the design of technical, installation and marketing material across all platforms
* Monitoringtrends and competitors' products, to ensure we continue to lead the market.
* Play a key role in product development and the launching of new products.
* Provide technical support to our national sales team.
* Increasing revenue through specification and timely customer support both remotely and face to face.
* Delivery of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) seminars to designers.
* Update our CRM with client contact and project information.
* Provide technical content to marketing department, for blogs, bulletins, and project case studies

In-house product training will be provided to the right candidate.
