About The Role
The Planning Support Officer helps deliver the Minister for Planning's responsibilities by supporting assessments of planning scheme amendments and land use planning matters. The officer prepares reports, presentations and correspondence, and contributes to planning projects and process improvements. The role works closely with internal teams, government agencies, local councils, industry, and the community, building strong relationships and supporting decision‐making. Success in this role improves the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of planning services, supports better outcomes for communities, and helps ensure planning processes are fair, well‐managed, and culturally safe.

Qualifications & Experience
* Strong administration and IT skills together with experience in and knowledge of statutory and strategic land use planning within a regional and/or metropolitan planning context in Victoria (mandatory).
* A relevant qualification in planning or related field (desirable).
