We are seeking a skilled Senior WHS Advisor to oversee and enhance workplace health and safety practices within a fast-paced FMCG environment. Based near Fremantle, this role is a key part of the site leadership team, and is focused on promoting a strong safety culture along with building a practical approach to safety performance. Description Develop, implement and manage WHS policies, procedures, and initiatives. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate hazards. Ensure compliance with all relevant WHS legislation and standards. Deliver safety training and awareness programs across the organisation. Investigate workplace incidents and prepare detailed reports with actionable outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety. Monitor and review WHS performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Profile A successful Senior WHS Advisor should have: Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or a related field. Proven experience in a WHS advisory role within the FMCG or Engineering & Manufacturing industries. Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Experience in delivering safety training and fostering a safety-first culture.
