Administration Officer | Lifeline Crisis Support | Townsville
Employment: Permanent Part‐Time (5 day fortnight) | Location: Townsville | Remuneration: $44.58 + Super + NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals & entertainment.
Position Overview
The Administration Officer contributes to the effective operation of the Lifeline Centre by delivering high‐quality administrative and financial support to ensure smooth delivery of crisis support services. The role supports the Service Leader and the broader team across a wide range of business functions, maintaining efficient systems, coordinating training, and providing operational support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐level administrative support to the Lifeline Centre and Service Leader.
* Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel and events.
* Support Crisis Support Worker training coordination.
* Manage records, databases and documentation systems.
* Undertake financial and HR administration tasks, including accounts payable and time‐keeping systems.
* Prepare reports, correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Office.
* Liaise with external providers and internal stakeholders (IT, facilities, suppliers).
* Support operational areas including HR, WHS, fleet and digital systems.
* Maintain effective administrative processes and a welcoming, professional environment.
Qualifications & Skills
* Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration (or similar) and/or relevant experience in a similar role.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Experience working across multiple business systems.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Positive Blue Card.
* Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
* Previous experience in health, community services or not‐for‐profit sector (desirable).
