Our client is looking for an experienced
Service Reliability Engineer
who has proven experience working in a fast-paced environment. Your role will be focused on running better production systems by defining engineering approaches that deliver operational best practice.
In addition to your strong technical capability, you will be a proven team player, independent thinker and have a collaborative attitude towards your work and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement
highly available, scalable architectures for KYC service integrations, ensuring reliability, performance, and adherence to SLAs.
* Proactively resolve incidents,
drive automation, and reduce manual effort through tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CloudFormation.
* Implement monitoring and observability
using Splunk, AppDynamics, and custom dashboards; support 24/7 on-call as the troubleshooting SME.
* Collaborate in Agile teams, contributing to sprints, planning, and retrospectives, while aligning with change, capacity, and deployment processes.
* Work across modern tech stack including AWS (ECS, RDS, serverless), Jenkins, GitHub, Kong, OAuth,, and frontend frameworks (Angular, React).
Required skills and experience:
* Demonstrated experience in software development or support using Agile practices
* Application support/development experience in the following:
* Large distributed systems
* Experience working in AWS environment is a must. Hands-on experience on Microservices, APIs, oAuth, Kafka, serverless technologies is essential.
* System & Application recovery & restoration
* Maven, Gradle and GitHub or similar (SCM/Build frameworks)
* Continuous Integration/Deployment frameworks (Jenkins / Hudson)
* ServiceNow/Remedy experience
* Experience within financial services industry is a bonus
