Program Manager - Civica Australia
As a Program Manager at Civica Australia, you are accountable for the successful delivery of complex, multi‐project programs that drive customer and business value. You oversee interrelated projects, lead and develop Project Managers, and ensure alignment across scope, timelines, resources, and outcomes.
This role offers ownership of high‐impact programs that directly support public sector organisations and the citizens they serve. You lead large, complex initiatives end‐to‐end, influencing outcomes at both customer and enterprise level.
You work in a collaborative, global environment where strong leadership, commercial thinking, and delivery excellence are valued and recognised. The role provides exposure to senior stakeholders, meaningful decision‐making authority, and the opportunity to shape delivery standards and program controls.
Requirements
* Extensive experience delivering large, complex programs comprising multiple interrelated projects
* Proven capability managing Project Managers and cross‐functional delivery teams
* Strong program governance skills, including establishment of controls, reporting, and delivery frameworks
* Advanced financial and resource management capability, including budgeting and cost control across programs
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with experience communicating at executive level
* Demonstrated ability to manage risk, issues, dependencies, and competing priorities across a program lifecycle
* Sound commercial acumen, including contract management and identification of commercial opportunities
* Strong change management capability, leading teams through ambiguity and transformation
* Highly organised approach with strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Program or project management certification and degree qualification, or equivalent experience
* Experience within government, education, or professional services environments
* Proficiency in report writing and use of Microsoft productivity tools
